Full Moon in Chapel Hill

Most of the time in life, when we plan on doing something good, we do not get what we intend to achieve. When we go ahead to work on something just by accident, we may succeed. On 8th April 2009 at 10pm, we walked outside our home to throw the trash, we saw this beautiful moon along with some funny-shape cloud. With no hesitation, we rushed back home and picked up our camera, tripod, and a flashlight. It took us a few minutes to set the camera up and a few minutes to shoot about 50 photos on the same object, the moon.

We like this picture a lot. The moon is accompanied by some cloud and some trees. For weather people, they may say something about the weather tomorrow by looking at those cloud. For us, the lighting on those cloud and their shape caught our eyes. It is just not something we see every night.

After shooting the moon for a few minutes, a big piece of cloud moved over and the moon was hidden behind. We were so lucky to catch that moment by making a quick decision to take pictures and moving quickly to grab our equipment.
